Alltech Fortnight Festival (AFF) will be in 15 cities with 14 venues showcasing over 30 Grammy winners and platinum artists of all genres from around the world. The artists include Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Wynton Marsalis, Celtic Woman, Doobie Brothers, The Decemberists, The Punch Brothers featuring Chris Thile, Beach Boys, Ricky Skaggs – just to name a few. This year, Kentucky will be center stage of entertainment. The Alltech Fortnight Festival will span the Commonwealth for 16 days: September 25-October 10.

The mission of the Alltech Fortnight Festival is to involve all of Kentucky in the excitement that is the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 will take place over 16 days in Lexington, Kentucky, from September 25 through October 10, 2010. World Equestrian Games are held every four years and serve as the world championships for eight equestrian sports: Dressage, Endurance, Eventing, Reining, Jumping, Vaulting, Driving, Para-Equestrian.

This will be the largest equestrian sporting event ever held in the United States, the first time the global event has ever taken place outside of Europe, and the first time it has had a title sponsor – Alltech. The games will have over 60 countries showcasing more than 600 athletes and 700+ horses in eight equestrian sports. There is said to be over 600,000 in ticket sales, and an international audience of over 460 million viewers.
